Welcome aboard. These Terms are the agreement between you and us for using LogAir. We have kept them readable, but they are still the real rules, so please read them.
1. THE BASICS
- "LogAir" means the LogAir mobile app, the website at logair.app, and related services.
- "Flabbergast", "we", "us" means Flabbergast Agency, Zavrtnica 17, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.
- "You" or "User" means anyone who uses LogAir.
By downloading, accessing, or using LogAir, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use LogAir.
2. WHAT LOGAIR DOES
LogAir is a digital pilot logbook. Depending on your plan, it lets you:
- Log and manage flights, with automatic flight audit and night-time calculation
- Batch-import flights from airlines, flight shares, and other logbooks, with auto-verification and intelligent matching
- Track flight-time limits and recency
- View advanced metrics, analytics, flight maps, and career summaries
- Monitor compliance and export your data
- Use the app offline, with sync once you reconnect
LogAir needs an account, and most features need an internet connection.
3. WHO CAN USE LOGAIR
You must be at least 16 years old. You agree to give accurate information, keep your login secure, and you are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
4. PLANS, BILLING, AND RENEWALS
4.1 Plans: LogAir offers a free Basic plan (log up to 100 flights) and a paid Pro plan (unlimited flights, plus advanced features). The current plans, features, and prices are shown in the app and on logair.app when you subscribe.
4.2 Pro pricing (reference only, varies by region and currency, and may change): $2.99 per month, or $23.99 per year (save about 33% with annual billing).
4.3 Auto-renewal: paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your store account is charged within 24 hours before renewal.
4.4 Managing and canceling: manage or cancel anytime in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep Pro until then.
4.5 Trials and refunds: free trials or promotions apply under the terms shown at purchase. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds and any right of withdrawal are handled by the app store you purchased through (Apple or Google) under their policies.
4.6 Price changes: we may change prices. Changes do not affect the period you have already paid for, and we will give notice where required.
5. USING LOGAIR
5.1 Please do: use LogAir for personal logbook keeping, log only flights you actually flew, follow the laws that apply to you, and respect other people's rights.
5.2 Please don't: enter fictitious or non-existent flights; use LogAir illegally or fraudulently; bypass security; reverse engineer the app; upload viruses or malicious code; or interfere with how LogAir works.
5.3 Third-party data: if you enter information about other people (crew, instructors, examiners), you are responsible for having any consent or lawful basis you need.
5.4 We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms.
6. YOUR DATA, YOUR BACKUPS
6.1 You own the flight data you enter. You grant us a limited license to host and process it so we can run the Service for you.
6.2 We make technical backups, but you are responsible for keeping your own copies. Export regularly (PDF or CSV).
6.3 How we handle personal data is covered by our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
7. IMPORTANT: AVIATION DISCLAIMER (PLEASE READ)
LogAir is a tool to help you keep your logbook. It is not an official, certified, or authority-approved logbook, and the data it produces is not guaranteed to satisfy any regulatory requirement.
- You are responsible for making sure your logbook meets your civil aviation authority's requirements (for example EASA, the FAA, the UK CAA, or your national authority).
- We do not guarantee that authorities, examiners, training organizations, or employers will accept LogAir data.
- Automatic features (audit, matching, night calculation, totals, recency) are aids, not a substitute for your own checking. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records.
- In any audit, check ride, or inspection, you alone are responsible for presenting and justifying your flight records.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
LogAir and everything in it (code, design, features, and branding) belongs to Flabbergast and is protected by law. Do not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer it without our permission. The "LogAir" name and logo are ours. You keep ownership of your own data, as set out in section 6.
9. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1 LogAir is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties about accuracy, completeness, reliability, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and fitness for your specific needs.
9.2 To the fullest extent allowed by law, Flabbergast is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) LogAir, including any reliance on flight data for regulatory, certification, employment, or legal purposes.
9.3 Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights under Croatian and EU law.
9.4 You use LogAir at your own risk.
10. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
10.1 You can stop using LogAir at any time and cancel your subscription through your app store.
10.2 We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, where appropriate after notice.
10.3 After termination, some features may be limited, your data may remain available in read-only mode for a period, and no refund is due for the unused part of a paid period (subject to app-store policy and your statutory rights).
11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of Croatia. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Croatia, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live. We will try to resolve any issue with you amicably first. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email and take effect when posted. If you keep using LogAir after that, you accept the updated Terms.
13. SEVERABILITY AND WAIVER
If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, that is not a waiver of it.
